Procurement Process
The GSS Civil Works is one of the largest contracts on the Site C project. To complete this large civil contract, AFDE will require a range of services and materials—engineering and construction services, equipment and materials supply, and other professional services.
AFDE is committed to fair and ethical procurement and will use local and Indigenous businesses whenever practical and economically reasonable.
If you are a supplier or contractor interested in participating in this project, use the Vendor Form below to tell us more about your services and be pre-qualified for upcoming opportunities relevant to your business.
Once you register using the Vendor Form, AFDE will create a company profile for your business in our internal database. AFDE may then get in contact with your company to confirm information about your services, experience, expertise, and capacity to assist us in the selection and pre-qualifications process. AFDE will then select and pre-qualify registered companies for open tenders. Pre-qualified companies will be invited to submit proposals.
Proposal and Quotation Evaluation Process
All proposals and quotations received for open tenders will be evaluated on the basis of safety considerations, environmental compliance, commercial competitiveness, as well as quality, timeliness, and terms of delivery. Bids that meet AFDE’s criteria will be awarded.
Indigenous Businesses
It is important for AFDE to create opportunities for both local and Indigenous businesses on this project.
We encourage all Indigenous businesses that want to be considered for project opportunities to connect with us via the Vendor Form to be added to our contractor / supplier list. AFDE is committed to ensuring Indigenous businesses are provided the opportunity to bid on all opportunities for which they are qualified.
